A late democracy in contraction does not ask politely. Exit taxes, savings-tapping schemes, registers, foreign-account bans, tax lists sold to the mafia: the pattern is one direction, more claim on your stored energy, less optionality for you. This essay reframes wealth the way the physics actually runs: as stored energy, in money, in competence, in people. It walks the audit the coming years will force anyway, and ends where the exit tradition always ends: sovereignty is control over your own energy budget, and whoever refuses to manage it has already surrendered it. Written in the tradition of forethought: the pillow is a silent oracle.

The Great Taking: Your Portfolio Is a Promise

The expropriation will not arrive with torches. It arrives as a PDF: dematerialized securities, custodial chains, harmonized collateral law, and central clearing parties that decide who is liquid and who is defaulted overnight. This review walks Webb's argument: how ownership became a book entry, how the book entry became a claim, and how the claim becomes collateral for someone else's crisis. The macaques of Bali already ran the experiment: what you hold in your hand has a different value than what merely belongs to you. The Etymological Court #19: Exitarianism

The final case. Exitarianism (exit + -arian + -ism) is the newest word in the docket and the reason the docket exists. Its first school (Markus Maiwald, 2026) built an entire philosophy from one question: can they leave? Its first constitution is not a set of doctrines but a meta-rule, embedded in the Libertaria Federation Constitution: beyond Axiom Zero (the inalienable right to exit), every Chapter may govern by any -ism it chooses. Sixteen verdicts, one capstone: every -ism may govern a Chapter, and none may lock the door.
