Unbound 1.1
Permissive reuse, with an independent standard ISC option.
Sovereign 1.1
Covered-file reciprocity. Independent files may remain proprietary; network use alone does not trigger source disclosure.
Commonwealth 1.1
Shared programs remain open on distribution and network deployment, with an explicit Venture exception.
Venture 1.1
The Commonwealth core and all its changes stay open. Independent modules may stay closed with cryptographically verifiable build evidence.
Venture: prove the build
Evidence requirements are independent of file format, package manager and vendor. Each required property must be met. No mandatory human auditor is required; the open-core source duties remain in force.
Adoption and integrity
These summaries explain the choices; the full license texts control. Publication does not relicense existing software or change earlier grants. Adoption requires permission from the relevant rightsholders and compliance with third-party terms.
